The University participates by means of the WARREDOC, since 1985, a multi-disciplinary academic center developing solution-oriented research, training, dissemination and exploitation activities. The University works closely with United Nations agencies hosting, since 2006, the UNESCO World Water Assessment Program at Villa La Colombella, the WARREDOC headquarter, an international excellence center for water and environmental sustainability programs for water, earth, climate, ecological, social and humanities studies.
